Change :   I recently read an article in Community Care outlining the number of changes in legislation that had come into effect in recent years and it reminded me of a book I read sometime ago called Change Magic. Change Magic started with the premise that as change is constant we needed to help everybody to accept rather than fear it. It went onto to describe the magic involved in making change almost imperceptiable. I run Change Management courses and so often I find that staff stumble from one surprising change to another, rather than being enabled to feel that they are following a transformational path from the poor house to individualised high quality care.
